On this page you can get a little insight into the making of a knife.

Just like any other creation it is start with an empty paper and a pencil.

I am drawing the dreamed up figure to the paper and from it will be a model (stencil). I cut the contour of the knife from the blade’s material with the help of the model.

 

After I prepare it for the heat treating which consists of the edge grinding and the bores preparing in place.

 

After the heat treating another grinding take place than the blade clean grinding will come already by manually.

 

In the next step I put up the finger guard than I choose the handle and fitting it accurately.

 

After the riveting of the handgrip I reach the final form with grinding.

 

At last I finish the work with polishing.
